Mizoram is linked with the rest of the country by Air, Rail and Road transport.

 

BY AIR

         Aizawl, the capital city of the state is linked with air by Air India and King Fisher services everyday from Kolkata and Guwahati on every day. The nearest Airport Lengpui Airport is 45 kms West from Aizawl. The distance from Aizawl City to College of Veterinary sciences & A.H. Selesih is only around 6 kms.

 

BY ROAD

       NH-54 connects Aizawl with the rest of the country via Silchar. Private and Govt. Busses, Taxis and Maxi-cab are plying from Silchar to Aizawl everyday and night. The journey between Silchar to Aizawl takes about 6-8 hrs. Aizawl is also accessible by road from Shillong and Guwahati.

 

BY TRAIN

       The nearest Rail Station from Aizawl is Silchar Rail Station in Assam which is about 184 kms away. A few kilometers away from Kolasib, cargo train linked the state at Bairabi.
