DEPARTMENT OF LIVESTOCK PRODUCTION AND MANAGEMENT

The Departments deals with husbandry, hygiene, housing and manage-mental practices of animals and birds and offers 19 Credit Hour Courses spread in two academic years (5 Semesters) to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. students during the first, third and fourth year of the degree programmes. The Departments is recognized for postgraduate (M.V.Sc.) degree programmes from the academic session 2006-07. Besides teaching, the Department is also involved in research in livestock and poultry husbandry.
