DEPARTMENT OF VETERINARY MICROBIOLOGY
Department of Veterinary Microbiology, CVSc&AH is engaged with teaching of UG and PG students of Veterinary Microbiology and applied research in diagnostic microbiology of animal diseases. It offers courses on different disease producing pathogens include bacteria, viruses, fungi etc. This department is also an integral part in extension activities of the university. Presently this department is engaged with three research projects on different bacterial and viral organisms to be diagnosed and characterized. Molecular biological and immunological techniques are applied for early and specific diagnosis of animal diseases.
