DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL NUTRITION
The chief objectives of the Department are to conduct basic and applied research on Animal Nutrition, undertaking both undergraduate and postgraduate programme of education and participation in the process of extension education through various training programme and development and refinement of technologies in the discipline of Animal nutrition. Department offers 10 credit hours courses in an academic year to the B.V.Sc & A.H. student during the 2 nd year of the degree programme. Post graduate programme (M.V.Sc) started in this department from the academic session 2007-2008 with the intake capacity of two students per year. The department is also maintaining a Quail Research Unit for demonstration and conducting research works.
