DEPARTMENT OF VETERINARY PHARMACOLOGY AND TOXICOLOGY

  The Department deals with the teaching and research on drugs, sources (Pharmacognosy), mechanism of action (Pharmacodynamics), fate in the body (Pharmacokinetics), uses (Pharmacotherapy) and their harmful effect (toxicology) and offers 12 Credit Hour Courses spread in two academic years (4 Semesters) to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. students during the third and fourth year of the degree programmes. The Department is a postgraduate Department and offering M.V.Sc. degree programmes from the academic session 2006-07.
